Jason Hughes
Chief Operating Officer

Jason has 28 years NHS experience in operational, strategic, commissioning, and adult social care roles resulting in a very detailed knowledge and experience of end-to-end elective and non-elective pathways for patients.

Jason’s experience within Endoscopy and Gastroenterology started in 2006 and includes the operational management of the Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust sites supporting the achievement of JAG accreditation and in 2008 leading the implementation from inception to delivery of the bowel cancer screening programme for the Northeast Sector of Greater Manchester. Since joining EndoCare in 2020, Jason has led the development of our flagship community diagnostic centre, securing CQC and JAG registration accordingly. Jason has also led the organisation to becoming successfully awarded to the NHS England community diagnostic centre & NHS workforce alliance frameworks.
Caroline Culverwell
Head of Operations

Caroline has over 20 years NHS experience in a variety of senior operational management roles across a wide range of services and specialities, most recently operationally managing Gastroenterology, General Surgery and Endoscopy services for

Stockport NHS Foundation Trust. Caroline has extensive experience of managing both elective and non-elective patient pathways, service transformation and leading a number of wide scale service re-design programmes with the focus on improving the quality of services and outcomes for patients.








Paul McAllister
Head of IT & Analytics

Paul has 25 years NHS and Local Government experience leading on the provision of timely high-quality analysis and intelligence to support the planning, monitoring, and evaluation of services. Paul has led on many projects including the ...

implementation of reporting frameworks, bringing together performance and activity information from multiple hospital sites. Paul leads on all projects associated with our information governance to ensure the security and confidentiality of data that is used within our service is in line with organisational and national policy and protocol. Paul successfully led the demanding process to achieving our certification of the international standard for organisations BS EN ISO/IEC 27001:2013 demonstrating our expertise in information security management and our dedication to have the top levels of security in place within the EndoCare infrastructure.

Jamie Marsh
Head of Compliance & Resilience

Jamie has over 14 years NHS experience in performance, programme management, improvement and developing resilient systems, including the design, scope, implementation and monitoring of work programmes across dynamic landscapes

to help improve health outcomes for patients. Jamie has operated at Greater Manchester level managing work programmes across all 10 health boroughs within the system. Jamies experience and knowledge will ensure we deliver against our legal and regulatory obligations with the Care Quality Commission and Joint Advisory Group on GI Endoscopy (JAG). Since joining EndoCare Jamie has successfully led the demanding process to achieving our certification of the international standard for organisations BS EN ISO/IEC 22301:2019 demonstrating our expertise in business continuity management minimising disruption and demonstrating our ability to maintain service delivery.
Elaine Graham
Head of Nursing & Quality Assurance

Elaine brings a wealth of knowledge and experience working within the Endoscopy / Gastroenterology speciality for 26 years within the NHS and 12 years within the private sector. Throughout her career, Elaine has managed multiple change programmes

 including the development and implementation of four new Endoscopy units across Greater Manchester. Elaine has extensive experience regarding accreditation with our Joint Advisory Group for GI Endoscopy regulator and the quality assurance framework of the Care Quality Commission. Elaine is also a certified Gastrointestinal for nurses, trainer, and facilitator. Elaine joined EndoCare in 2021 and has been integral to the development of our community diagnostic centre, committed to ensuring we offer all patients a high standard of quality and safe care in a community setting.

Phil Davies
Financial Accountant

Phil has worked with EndoCare since 2017 and advises on all aspects of accounts and tax, specialising in clinical practice.

Phil manages our whole financial portfolio from a business perspective and is a member of the association of chartered certified accountants as well as a chartered tax advisor.
